Dear Sir/Madam,
Observing the current state of the organization, it seems Bertie Ahern could potentially be a perfect fit for the role of CEO in the Football Association of Ireland. Yours sincerely,
Pascal Ó Deasmhumhnaigh,
Enniscorthy,
County Wexford.
Salman Rushdie once mentioned, ‘My first thought each day is the absence of my right eye.’
Dear Editor,
The Football Association of Ireland has utterly failed in naming a successor for Stephen Kenny, the manager of Ireland’s senior men’s international team. Additionally, how did Marc Canham, the Director of Football for the FAI, assume that a mere four-minute internal video could be enough for communication?
Shouldn’t they arrange a formal press conference and entertain queries from the media? Important details that fans are eagerly awaiting for are lacking. What exactly is the situation and why is the FAI evading the public eye? Yours faithfully,
Stephen O’Hara,
Carrowmore,
County Sligo.
Dear Editor,
Once more, the FAI has delayed announcing the new Irish manager until September. But one is left wondering, which year’s September are they referencing? Yours sincerely,
Colm O’Fatharta,
Rathgar,
Dublin 6.
