Dear Sir, – It has come to my attention that architect David Browne has presented a list of ten significant enhancements required for our beloved capital city. This list was featured in the Life & Style article by Arthur Beesley titled “Urban Ireland: Architects and experts tell us how to stop the decline of Dublin and other Irish city centres” published on October 26th. His suggestions were supported by numerous architects, urban designers, and esteemed institutions such as the Royal Institute of Architects of Ireland and the Irish Academy of Engineering. However, what strikes me as glaringly absent from these suggestions is the deficiency of public lavatories. – Yours faithfully,
Rosi O’Sullivan,
Dalkey,
Co Dublin.
