Explore the medieval village in the heart of Valentino Park, Turin

Located in the heart of Valentino Park, this reproduction of a medieval hamlet was originally built for the Great Exposition which was held in Turin in 1884.
The small village (which the organisers wanted to tear down after the exhibition) with its narrow streets, small artisan workshops, defensive walls and fortress has over the years become a tourist attraction, so much so that in 1942 the place was turned into a museum.

But the amazing thing is that the artisan workshops are still open and doing brisk business! So if you are in Turin, don’t miss the chance to visit the village! You won’t be disappointed!Medieval village opening hours : 9:00- 19:00 every day; Fortress opening hours: 10:00-18:00 from Tuesday to Sunday
