A discussion has ensued around the chances of securing the Lotto jackpot, as pointed out in a recent letter we received on March 13th. While the odds may seem steep, the reward is equally substantial, both in terms of the individual winnings and its broader societal contributions. Every year, statistics reveal an average of one Lotto jackpot winner every five weeks, generating 22 millionaires in last year alone.
Add to that, the considerable weekly funds raised by the National Lottery participants for various meritorious causes across Ireland, which totals more than €4 million.
