The government has launched a comprehensive new service to guide businesses in understanding and accessing over 180 grants and supports, according to the Minister for Enterprise, Peter Burke. The National Enterprise Hub, which was inaugurated on Wednesday, aims to streamline the process of engaging with government supports, thereby promoting the growth of Irish businesses.
The hub is financed by the Department of Enterprise, Trade and Employment and will be administered by Enterprise Ireland. It will also integrate relevant government departments and state bodies, including IDA Ireland, Skillnet, Bord Bia, amongst others.
Leo Clancy, the chief executive of Enterprise Ireland, voiced his pleasure with the collaboration between government departments and agencies in producing this resource. He believes the new service, staffed by trained advisers, will help entrepreneurs and business leaders to efficiently navigate the network of government aids.
This initiative majorly constitutes the SME package that was agreed by the Coalition partners in May. Businesses can connect with this service through the National Enterprise Hub’s website, or by phone or live chat.
