A male octogenarian lost his life in hospital due to severe injuries incurred from a significant motor collision that occurred within Co Kilkenny back in September. The elderly man met with the accident, involving a motorcycle, in the vicinity of Mooncoin village approximately at 7.30 in the evening on 21st September. Post the incident, emergency response teams arrived at the location to provide necessary aid and then conveyed him to Mater Misericordiae University Hospital for further medical intervention. Regrettably, he subsequently succumbed to his injuries. Gardaí is actively seeking assistance from potential eyewitnesses of this catastrophe, especially from individuals who might possess video recordings and were commuting or pedestrians on the N24 between the hours of 7pm and 8pm.
