€1.7M Cocaine and Cannabis Seized in Raid

Upon intercepting two vehicles in Dublin’s Swords region, the Irish police, Gardaí, successfully confiscated illicit drugs and high-end vehicles as part of their ongoing crackdown on organised crime within the Dublin area. Follow-up searches at homes within the Swords and Ballybrack regions of Dublin furthered the seizure. Law enforcement managed to seize a total of six kilograms of cocaine, 65 kilograms of cannabis, €100,000 in ready cash, a cocaine compressor, mixing substances, and three expensive cars. The collective value of these confiscated substances, awaiting analysis, surpasses €1.7 million.

The gravity of the moment will not be lost on Leinster as they struggle to replicate the fervour of the La Rochelle match, particularly in Sexton’s absence.

This operation resulted in the detention of two men, aged between 40 and 50, in connection with drug trafficking offenses. Both men are currently in neighbouring Gardaí custody in Dublin, while further investigations are in progress.
