E-scooter Incident Seriously Injures Woman

The police have issued an appeal for any witnesses following the discovery of a severely injured woman, presumed to be in her twenties, who had been travelling on an electric scooter. She was found on Tom Bellew Avenue in Dundalk, Co Louth on Friday night around 9:30pm. After being found, she was rushed to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where she is presently receiving treatment and her condition is worrying.

Officers of the law have preserved the scene for a detailed forensic investigation and also urge anyone having any information to come out. They are especially interested to connect with any vehicular commuters or walkers who were present around the vicinity between 9:15 to 9:45 pm on that fateful night.

Moreover, should anyone hold any video recording of the incident or the circumstances leading to it such as dashcam footage, they are implored to make it available.
