“Dublin Versus Mayo at Dr Hyde Park”

As anticipated, the deciding match between Dublin and Mayo for who tops Group Two of the All-Ireland football championship round-robin series is set to take place at the Roscommon’s Dr Hyde Park. Mayo was vocal about their preference of not having the final neutral round of their group being played at Croke Park. Kevin McStay’s squad, who has had three victories at the Roscommon venue this year alone, encompassing a league win, a Connacht championship triumph and a recent group victory, will be in known territory.

On the other hand, in Group One, Galway is gearing up to go head to head with Armagh at Sligo’s Markievicz Park. The last time they played, Kieran McGeeney’s team triumphed over Galway securing a direct pass to the All-Ireland quarter-finals.

In Group Three, Donegal is aiming to get back on winning ways by securing a win against Clare in Castlebar. Meanwhile, Cork, who defeated Donegal in their last match, square off against Tyrone in a defining match, which will dictate the group’s leading team. This match will run consecutively with Cork’s hurlers’ preliminary quarter-final, which will be held either in Tullamore or Portlaoise, dictated by the victor of the upcoming McDonagh Cup final.

The succeeding team will compete against Cork at their home ground while the team that finishes second will host Wexford, with both matches scheduled for 15th June. The subsequent day, Kerry who currently top Group Four, will be up against Louth, with the victorious team securing the leading position in the group.

The remaining fixtures for Saturday, 15th June include Group One’s Derry versus Westmeath at Páirc Esler, Group Two’s Roscommon versus Cavan at Glennon Brothers Pearse Park, and for Group Three, Donegal versus Clare at Hastings Insurance MacHale Park at 3 pm and Tyrone versus Cork at Laois Hire O’Moore Park or Glenisk O’Connor Park at 3 pm.

In the All-Ireland SHC preliminary quarter-finals, Offaly versus Cork/Wexford will be held at Glenisk O’Connor Park while Laois take on Cork/Wexford at Laois Hire O’Moore Park, both with yet to be confirmed match times. Sunday, 16th June, will see the third round of the All-Ireland SFC.

In Group One, Galway will face Armagh at Markievicz Park and the match will take place at 1.45 p.m., being broadcast live on RTÉ. As for Group Two, there is an encounter between Dublin and Mayo set for Dr Hyde Park that’s scheduled for 3.45 p.m., and will also be shown live on RTÉ. In Group Four, Kerry is set to play against Louth at Laois Hire O’Moore Park at 3.0 p.m. Additionally, Monaghan will be taking on Meath at Kingspan Breffni at 3.0 p.m., and this game will be streamed live on GAAGo.
