A significant operation has been initiated by the Dublin Fire Brigade in response to a fire that broke out at a business establishment in Ballycoolin, a northwest suburb of Dublin. A total of six fire units were dispatched, including a turntable ladder and a foam tender.
The immediate reason and the precise location for the fire remain uncertain. Images of a building, located next to a car park, engulfed in flames were shared by the fire brigade on their social media platforms. Heavy smoke could be seen billowing from the rooftop and the entrances of the building. It could only be determined that it is an industrial park in Ballycoolin.
Local inhabitants were cautioned to keep their windows shut because the strong wind was carrying smoke and toxic fumes through the area. The building in question seemed to be a business establishment in photos, and on social media, it was believed to be part of a prominent local car and motoring venture, but this could not be verified immediately.
The local police, or gardaí, had not made any remarks right away, and there were no immediate reports of any casualties.
