DNG Estate Agents launched a fresh segment of their business specifically focused on Country Homes and Estates, providing advice to potential clients looking to purchase or sell rural homes, farms, and estates. Spearheaded by DNG partner Gemma Lanigan, the division’s aim is to combine local insights from their expansive network of 81 Irish branches with national and international marketing and analytical know-how, resulting in a distinct new service offering.
The newly established Country Homes and Estates division of DNG promises to deliver tailor-made solutions for both buyers and sellers, which include advertising properties through their worldwide partner, Hamptons Estate Agents, to stir international interest.
According to DNG, the Irish rural homes market was estimated to be worth around €220 million in 2023 and demonstrated growth with a 42% rise in home sales worth over €1 million outside of Dublin since 2021. DNG further reported that in 2023, the company’s website attracted 10% of its total visitors from overseas, resulting in over 1.2 million hits on the website that year, with a large portion of the traffic originating from the UK and the US – both crucial markets for international buyers interested in Irish country homes.
DNG also stated that potential buyers with Irish roots are frequently seeking properties near their place of origin or tied to their family history.
Gemma Lanigan expressed great enthusiasm for the launch of the new Country Homes and Estates division, particularly given the surging demand for high-quality rural homes. DNG’s CEO Keith Lowe affirmed the company’s unmatchable history in managing the sales of some of Ireland’s most coveted properties, assuring clients, whether they are buying or selling, of the seamless process facilitated by the expertise of their agents.
