Dear Sir,
Having read Kamala Harris’s memoir, I am left puzzled why the media persists in mispronouncing her first name so markedly. The correct pronunciation, as she states, is ‘Commala’, similar to the punctuation mark, and yet we continue to hear a rendition akin to ‘Pamela’. Why is this?
