Traditional Irish folk performer, Damien Dempsey, is ready to take the stage in his home city of Dublin for two successive concerts this coming weekend. This isn’t his first time performing at this venue – he held two concerts at the Iveagh Gardens in 2023, and is returning due to popular demand from his fans.

These gigs will be held at Dublin’s Iveagh Gardens found on Friday, July 19th, and Saturday, July 20th.

Looking to arrive early?
The doors to the venue will be open from 6.30pm on both Friday and Saturday. The performance is scheduled to commence at 7.20pm on both days.
The supporting acts?
Gemma Hayes will open Friday’s show with her act starting at 7.20pm. Following her, Dempsey will take over at 8.30pm. Gareth Dunlop is lined up for Saturday’s gig, performing at 7.20pm, with Dempsey following up at 8.30pm.

Since the venue does not offer car parking, alternative parking options can be found city-wide. What about security? Only individuals 18 and under who are with a fully grown person will be permitted. Items smaller than an A4 paper can also be brought in, but will be inspected. Prohibited items include anything that could qualify as a weapon, flag poles, selfie sticks, umbrellas, and more.
The venue does not allow drinks and meals from home, but you can order some while there. Note that the location doesn’t deal with cash, and there isn’t an ATM on site, so please plan to pay electronically. Anyone causing a public safety risk or being abusive or offensive will not be let in, and could be reported to the authorities. Medics will be available at the first aid station.
Photos at the concert? Yes, they are allowed, but cameras with detachable lenses are out of bounds.
What’s the weather going to be like? According to Met Éireann, there will be sunny periods and sparse cloud cover on Friday, with temperatures ranging from 18-23°C. On Saturday, rain is predicted to start moving eastward, with highs of 17-20°C forecasted.
