Concorso d’Eleganza concludes at the Villa d’Este, Lake Como

The Concorso d’Eleganza has now concluded at the Villa d’Este on Lake Como, showing off a BMW prototype of the M1 Hommage.
I was lucky enough to attend last year, purely by accident, strolling in without paying, and I can say it is definitely worth a trip.
There is nothing more elegant than wandering around the grounds of a beautiful villa on Lake Como amongst the vintage cars resting on the manicured grass.

This can be a hands-on experience as long as you don’t grime the polished body-work of the vehicles.
Last year I had the opportunity to chat with an American guy who had turned up with a Ferrari prototype which had survived the trans-atlantic trip for its visit to George Clooney Italian territory.
We’ll leave you with this photo gallery of some of the beauties of the show.
