“Comfortable contentment”

Subject: Concern Regarding the Changing Advertising Perspectives of Accommodation Providers

Dear Editor,

It was a customary practice among hoteliers and lodging suppliers of Ireland to boast about their en-suite rooms or acclaim their restaurants for securing awards – and in some cases, both. However, these days, I have observed a new trend being adopted, that of promoting their location as “nestled”.

While it’s infrequent, there have been instances where a departing guest may express dissatisfaction with a specific aspect of the service. Yet, could we now be facing the day when upon checking out, a guest may lament about the nestling not meeting the usual “nestling” standards?

Kind regards,

Ken Buggy,
