This new narrative incorporates stories, poems, and extracts from different authors. These authors include students from various educational institutes like Scoil Eoin Phóil in Leixlip, Co Kildare as well as a few primary schools in Ulster. Noted contributors to this compilation include Isabelle Scott and Ellie O’Mordha from Dublin of 13 and 11 years old respectively, Oisín Twomey from Cork City aged at 18 years, and Rachel McCloskey from Co Louth aged 17. Similarly, Olivia Willis Lawlor from Co Armagh of 13 years old, Rufus O’Connell Cantillon from Cork City aged 17, and Amelia Iwanicka from Co Wexford aged 15 also joined the narrative. Scoil Mhuire in An Tuairín, Béal an Daingin, Co na Gaillimhe, contributed an extract from a story composed by ranganna a trí agus a ceathair, and Clíodhna Ní Neachtain from An Spidéal, Co na Gaillimhe contributed as well, at the age of 12. Another notable extract in the compilation is that of a story from rang a sé at St Louis Senior Primary in Ráth Maonais, Baile Átha Cliath. There’s also a poem by Donnacha Ó Tuairisc from Co na Gaillimhe aged 15 years and a story by Ruby Cusack Cave from Co Wicklow, aged 15 years. In addition to the compilation, other compelling reads that might interest readers include an exploration of the post-Brexit world impact on the identity and relationship of the islands, inquisitions about a deadly nightclub fire causing the death of 48 people and updates on family happenings like weddings, births, and deaths.
