“Cocaine, Motorcycles Seized in Dublin Raids”

In the wake of a significant €3 million cocaine apprehension on Tuesday, Dublin experienced two fruitful drug busts. An initial endeavour was undertaken in Clondalkin, a western suburb of Dublin, leading to the capture of a male in his 30s who is still under arrest.

Subsequent searches were conducted on Wednesday in residential properties in the areas of Dublin 10 and 12 by the Serious Crime, South Ballyfermot Drug, and Detective Units, with support from the Garda Dog Unit, the Divisional Search Team and the Dublin Crime Response Team. As a result of these operations, an additional amount of cocaine worth approximately €2,500 was discovered, in addition to €1,600 in actual cash and six off-road motorbikes.

A female in her 30s has been taken into custody and charged; she is set to be presented before the judicial system in due course.

Det. Superintendent Tomás Gormley from Serious Crime South, Clondalkin, emphasised the critical ramifications of the drug trade and organised crime operations. He insisted on their firm resolve to exterminate their activities in the broader regions of Clondalkin and Ballyfermot.
