Clare’s Unchanged Team for Cork Final

Clare’s lineup for the forthcoming All-Ireland hurling final versus Cork on Sunday remains the same as the team that participated in the victorious semi-final against Kilkenny this month. The only alterations are two new additions to their substitutes with seasoned player Seadna Morey and Robin Mounsey joining the bench, replacing Keith Smyth and Seán Rynne.

Morey’s incorporation to the team brings the number of team members who participated in the last All-Ireland clash, held 11 years back against Cork as well, to seven. David McInerney, John Conlon, captain Tony Kelly, Peter Duggan, and Shane O’Donnell are all survivors from the 2013 team, with Duggan being the only one who didn’t play.

Two changes have also been made from the squad that triumphed against Cork in the Munster championship held in May; Tony Kelly and Conor Leen are replacing Cian Galvin and Rory Hayes.

The full Clare’s squad includes Eibhear Quilligan, Adam Hogan, Conor Cleary, Conor Leen, Diarmuid Ryan, John Conlon, David McInerney, David Fitzgerald, Cathal Malone, Tony Kelly, Mark Rodgers, Peter Duggan, Aidan McCarthy, Shane O’Donnell, and David Reidy. Reserves include Cian Broderick, Rory Hayes, Paul Flanagan, Cian Galvin, Darragh Lohan, Ryan Taylor, Seadna Morey, Aron Shanagher, Ian Galvin, Shane Meehan, and Robin Mounsey.
