Christmas in Rome: ride the free festive trams

Two special Christmas trams will be running on Rome’s tram network until 6 January; sponsored by Coco cola, the two trams have been decorated with more than 35,000 lights but the really big news is that they are totally free: no need for passengers to pay any ticket! Children will also be presented with lovely teddy bears and snapshots with Santa (the “old man” will be available to pose for pictures with your children) Christmas Tram routes: Mancini – Lungotevere – piazza Mancini; Piazza Mancini – suburbs – Piazza Mancini; the festive trams will run from 18:00 to 22:00.
