Christmas in Italy: Christmas markets and weekend breaks in Brunico

Last Thursday the lovely town of Brunico in Val Pusteria officially started the holiday season with its first Christmas market of the season; the town was packed with colourful stalls displaying wooden toys, glassware, porcelain items, Christmas decorations and even precious works of art.
But if you missed it, don’t worry more Christmas markets are on the way: here‘s the official calendar:27- 23 December24 December25 December26 December – 6 January.
