Noted broadcaster and reporter, Charlie Bird, has passed away at 74. Formerly the leading news correspondent at RTÉ, he was diagnosed with motor neuron disease in the year 2021. Post-diagnosis, he dedicated his efforts to charity and raising motor neuron disease awareness.
