Chargebee, a booming platform specialising in subscription and revenue growth, has expanded its operations by establishing a new office in Dublin. The initiative is expected to generate 50 new employment opportunities within a span of three years. Housing over 6,500 clients across 227 nations and territories, Chargebee renders this step as a strategic move to expedite its growth and magnify its footprint across Europe.
Europe serves as a significant market, with a large number of Chargebee’s clients being domiciled on the continent, and the establishment of the Dublin base will enable the company to leverage the city’s reputation as a hotspot for the world’s most eminent tech establishments.
Chargebee’s primary operations revolve around catapulting the revenue of subscription-based organisations by delivering a comprehensive gamut of solutions focused on aspects such as recurring billing, pricing, payment optimisation, collections, revenue recognition, and customer retention.
Chargebee now has a global presence with six offices stationed across continents, including the US, India, and the Netherlands. Over the next three years, Chargebee aims to expand its Dublin workforce to 50 members, with an emphasis on serving and growing its customer brands, which count Pret a Manger, xSellco, Oddbox, Personio and Typeform among its ranks.
As part of this growth strategy, Chargebee’s chief marketing officer, Guy Marion, will relocate to Dublin. Chargebee CEO, Krish Subramanian, praised Dublin’s vibrant tech ecosystem and access to high-calibre talent, declaring it an ideal site for European enlargement.
Subramanian expressed his enthusiasm about establishing a dynamic workspace for the new team members while fuelling regional growth, and leveraging Dublin’s proficient tech talent to thrust the company’s mission ahead.
Michael Lohan, CEO of IDA Ireland, endorsed this move, noting that Ireland creates ample potential for companies such as Chargebee to capitalise on growth opportunities within the EMEA region.
