“Celtic’s Comeback Secures Hart’s Final Win”

On the cinch Premiership’s final day, Celtic twice managed to recover from changes in lead to achieve a 3-2 victory over St Mirren. It marked the last league match in the career of Joe Hart, Celtic’s 37-year-old goalkeeper. Seven minutes into the match, St Mirren gained the lead with a goal by Mark O’Hara. What followed was a back-and-forth contest, studded with pivotal moments like Matt O’Riley’s equalising effort and O’Hara’s penalty-induced score, and culminated with Luis Palma securing Celtic’s winning goal.

In another showstopper of a match, Hearts and Rangers ended in a 3-3 deadlock at Tynecastle. Hearts took an early lead, only to be equalised by the Rangers after the half-break. For a time, it seemed the Rangers were heading for victory with a two-goal advantage, only for Hearts to launch an impressive comeback – including a spectacular volley by Kyosuke Tagawa in the last second of the game, that sealed the tie.

In a ramped-up final at the Scot Foam Stadium, Dundee were forced to content with a 1-1 outcome against Kilmarnock, despite having opportunity to seize victory late in the game. Kilmarnock, reduced to ten men in the last minutes following Robbie Deas’s second yellow card offense, heaved a sigh of relief when Dundee missed the winning penalty.
