Casey Stoner given MotoGP legendary status

Casey Stoner started racing in GP when he was fifteen and now 12 years later the two-time World champion will be retiring the age of 27, with 45 victories, 89 podium finishes and 43 pole-positions, and to honour the Australian, MotoGP has rightly decided to place him amongst the ‘Legends of MotoGP’ with other nineteen members of the club: Giacomo Agostini, Mick Doohan, Geoff Duke, Wayne Gardner, Mike Hailwood, Daijiro Kato, Eddie Lawson, Anton Mang, Angel Nieto, Wayne Rainey, Phil Read, Jim Redman, Kenny Roberts, Jarno Saarinen, Kevin Schwantz, Barry Sheene, Freddie Spencer, John Surtees and Carlo Ubbiali.
