Following an incident where a car flipped onto its roof, significant traffic jams were noted on the M7 in Co Kildare. The accident this past Saturday afternoon occurred just past Junction 14 between Monasterevin and Kildare town, as the car was journeying northbound towards Dublin. The event led to a sizeable holdup on the M7 spanning between junctions 13 and 14, a four-kilometre stretch. Shoppers were also hit with extensive lines at the Kildare Village shopping centre. Authorities rerouted traffic and there were consequent delays. However, the area has since been cleared and traffic flow restored.
