Buick live @ the 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show

The 2012 Los Angeles Auto Show is also an excellent opportunity to take a look at the stands of those brands which are not being marketed in Europe (though quite a few of them actually do with just a different brand).
One of these brands is Buick, GM’s historic brand, which showed up in L.

A.
with a strong line up of models (some of which are actually already known to the public).
Let’s take the “Regal” and “Encore” models for instance: different badges and little else aside, they are actually the North American couterparts of the Opel/Vauxhall Insignia and Mokka, with which they share basically everything.
There are a few aesthetic details that are different, but they are basically twins separated at birth.
Much more faithful to the tradition of the American models is the massive Enclave, which measures 5.
12 meters in length, 2 in width and 1.
82 in height.
This huge car weighs 2,168 kg, is powered by a 3.
6-liter V6 delivering 292 hp and shares the same platform with the GMC Acadia and Chevrolet Traverse.
Same goes for the LaCrosse, a large 5-meter long sedan developed on the GM Epsilon II platform that spawned the Opel Insignia (though it has a shorter wheelbase), the Saab 9-5, the Chevrolet Malibu and the Roewe 950.

This model is equipped with either a 4-cylinder 2.
4-liter Ecotec engine producing 182 hp or the more performing 3.
6-liter V6 delivering 303 hp.
