HM Plant Honda rider Josh Brookes outbraked himself at the haipin, taking out race leader Simon Andrew and another five riders.
Brookes has been penalised with a two race ban for reckless riding and riding in a manner incompatibile with general safety.
It’s the second time this year that Brookes has been penalised for his riding, the first time when he took out Sylvain Guintoli at the Donington Park round.
