Brian May, the renowned guitarist for the band Queen, recently divulged that he suffered a mild stroke which temporarily incapacitated his left arm. Revealing the health incident casually as a “small snag”, he reassured his followers that he is on a steady route to recovery. The incident had kept him on edge as he momentarily lost control over his arm and questioned his ability to play guitar, as he stated in a web shared video on Wednesday.
Taking the event in jest, May jokingly stated that currently, he couldn’t manage to drive or fly and advised against heart-felt sympathies as they would only “flood his inbox”. Regardless of the serious health issue, fans and followers were assured of May’s fighting spirit when he confirmed, “The bright side is, I can play guitar.”
The revelation was made a few weeks after his documentary, ‘Brian May: The Badgers, the Farmers and Me’, aired on BBC Two. May continues his relentless campaign against the slaughter of badgers. In his video message, while addressing the documentary and people’s reactions, the guitarist stated they were not at loggerheads with the farmers, rather with those disseminating false information.
