If you follow rallies and enduro meets, you may have heard of the Bordone–Ferrari Racing Team and you’ll know that Alessandro Botturi, Paolo Ceci, Gerard Farrés and Jordi Viladoms and Francisco “Chaleco” Lopez all ride for this ambitious Italian team that was born just last year, on 29th to be precise.
This year to celebrate their first anniversary, Nicoletta Elisa Altieri Bordone and Renato Ferrari will be launching a Bordone–Ferrari Italian Rally Motorbike, which has been kept pretty well under wraps (they tested the prototype in Italy, Spain and Tunisia).
According to the press release that accompanies the above teaser video, the new motorcycle “represents a style full of ethical, industrial and sports meanings.
Designers, mechanics and the technical staff have been working hard to give to Alessandro Botturi, Paolo Ceci, Jordi Viladoms, Gerard Farrés and Francisco “Chaleco” Lopez a motorbike that stands out because of its strength, reliability design and quality, a motorbike which is born by technological studies that push it beyond the standards.
”Renato Ferrari said: “Our dream was designing a competitive and beautiful Rally motorbike.
We gambled on the cooperation of a worldbeater team: a designer of a worldwide fame, an highly skilled technical staff, ten year experienced chassis technicians, mechanics which spent their all lives in the racing world.
It was an absolute condition to design a bike born from long years of experience and not just from a theory.
The push of this enthusiasm led us to new technical answers about each part and each detail, which are turning out to be totally innovative and ahead of the current standards.
”The bike will be officially launched on June 29th at Castiglion Fiorentino, so stay tuned.
