Bohemians and their manager, Declan Devine, have decided to go their separate ways

The Bohemians Football Club has bid farewell to their men’s first team manager, Declan Devine. Devine, who joined the club in October 2022, is parting ways with the team currently ranked seventh, following just one victory in their initial quartet of matches for the ongoing season.
The club, in a formal statement, expressed gratitude towards Devine for his instrumental role in navigating the Bohemians’ switch back to full-time football. Under his reign, the club made it to the FAI Cup finals and was close to achieving European league qualification in the previous season.
Assistant manager Gary Cronin will also be leaving the club. Meanwhile, Pat Fenlon, a former manager of the club and current Director of Football, will take the reins on a temporary basis, with first-team coach Derek Pender supporting him.
Fenlon’s previous accomplishments with the Bohemians include winning league titles in 2008 and 2009, following his successful stint with Shelbourne, where he secured three league titles in the 2000s.
