Boeing to Raise $25bn Funds

Boeing, the troubled American aircraft manufacturer, has revealed plans to generate up to $25 billion (approximately €9 billion), according to official administrative documentation. This comes as a result of a devastating strike initiated by its biggest labour union, leaving the company striving to reinforce its financial position. The regulatory disclosure directed at investors disclosed Boeing’s intentions to raise either debt or equity, as this would allow the firm diverse capital options needed to bolster its financial statement over a span of three years. In a disconnected development, the company affirmed they have entered into an ‘additional credit agreement’ worth $10 billion, supported by a group of lenders.
