“Blink-182 Dublin: Setlist, Forecast, Transport Info”

Blink-182, the famed American punk-pop band, is all ready to hit the stage in Dublin after a cancellation forced the rescheduling of their concert there last year. The health issue with Kourtney Kardashian, wife of the band’s drummer, Travis Barker, led to the sudden call-off. However, the Dublin concert now rescheduled is set to take place at the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, a delightful venue for a summer performance, provided the weather holds up.

The trio consists of Travis Barker on drums, Mark Hoppus providing the bass and vocals and Tom DeLonge on the guitar also with vocals. October last year saw the release of their ninth full-length album, “One More Time”, appreciated by critic Lauren Murphy for its prevalently expected characteristics of a Blink-182 album. This includes quick-paced drum tempos, intermittent rousing singalongs, numerous jagged riffs, and infectious pop-punk tunes. To the great pleasure of their admirers, the band has disclosed the upcoming release of “One More Time… Part-2” this coming September 6th, possibly delivering a fresh track or two during their Dublin performance.

Curious about what to know for the concert? Here’s everything:
The band is scheduled to perform on Tuesday, August 27th in the premises of the Irish Museum of Modern Art, more specifically, the Royal Hospital Kilmainham, Dublin 8.

Regretfully, all tickets have sold out, but there might be a chance for some resale tickets on the Ticketmaster website. Remember only to purchase from verified sources.

Keep in mind the importance of downloading your tickets ahead of the show day from your Ticketmaster account to your Smartphone wallet since there might not be any network at the venue.

Gate timings are from 5pm to 9.30pm, with the event starting at 7.30pm, courtesy of the support act, before Blink-182’s grand performance.

You’ll be treated to the American rock band, The Story So Far, as the supporting artist. The band, just fresh off their fifth album, “I Want to Disappear,” released this year, has been accompanying Blink-182 for their Europe Dates, and are fine-tuning for their upcoming US headline tour in winter.

Getting in and out of the venue will be covered shortly.

One should bear in mind that parking at the location isn’t available, and traffic rules will apply to Military Road and Kilmainham Lane. The closest public parking can be found at Park Rite, located at 7 Queen Street, Dublin 7. As Kilmainham is a domestic community, concert attendees are urged to uphold respect towards the local population – refrain from unauthorised parking or parking in residential zones. There are several ways to access the concert venue via public transportation:
