Benjamin Keough, Lisa Marie Presley’s son dies in suspected suicide at 27

The mother Lisa Marie felt: "completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley".

Benjamin Keough, Lisa Marie Presley ‘s son, has died aged 27 in a suspected suicide on Sunday in Calabasas, California. It seems that the cause of death is a “self-inflicted gunshot wound”.

The musician Benjamin Keough was the grandson of Elvis Presley, a spokesman for the mother Lisa Marie Presley confirmed the death. Roger Widynowsk, Lisa Marie’s manager, said that her boy was “the love of her life“. The he added: “She is completely heartbroken, inconsolable and beyond devastated but trying to stay strong for her 11-year-old twins and her oldest daughter Riley. She adored that boy. He was the love of her life.

Benjamin was know for his strong resemblance to his famous grandfather, Elvis Presley alias The King. At the teen age he signed a $5million record deal, however his output remains relatively unknown. Lisa Marie talking about the similarities: “Ben does look so much like Elvis. He was at the Opry and was the quiet storm behind the stage. Everybody turned around and looked when he was over there. Everybody was grabbing him for a photo because it is just uncanny.”

Benjamin was born in Florida on October 21, 1992 and his last social apparition was on an Instagram post of Lisa Marie’s profile of June last year. The father of Benjamin is Danny Keough, a bass player in Elvis Presley’s band. Also, Lisa Marie was married to Michael Jackson, who she had first met in 1975, when she was seven years old.
