Law enforcement and fire service workers encountered hostility amidst disruptions in Belfast. The PSNI responded to an incident at the Lower Falls near 10pm on Sunday evening subsequent to reports of a considerable number of people assembling nearby. The Fire Brigade was called upon to douse a fire that had been kindled in a commercial rubbish bin. During the event, law enforcement and firefighters were pelted with bricks and various objects. The crowd retreated approximately by 11pm. The PSNI reported no injuries but one of their vehicles suffered damage. Police called on anyone with details to step forward.
