Awakening by Seward Johnson on display in Rome

The famous sculpture the Awakening comprises of five separate elements buried in the ground.
Created by Seward Johnson, this astonishing work of art (depicting a giant who struggle to free himself) is above all a symbol of liberty.
The awakening, which was sculptured when Berlin wall was torn down 20 twenty years ago, is now on display near the Obelisk in Piazza Guglielmo, Rome.
