I’m writing to praise Denis Walsh and Malachy Clerkin’s masterful depiction of the unique attributes of two outstanding youthful athletes in their Sports Weekend articles on October 5th. Their portrayal of Wesley Joyce and Cillian O’Sullivan’s acceptance of their circumstances, including the restrictions over them, and their stalwart determination to regain their high-rank status is commendable.
This aptly illustrates an important life lesson for every one of us.
