As part of an operation led by the Garda, ten individuals have been detained in Mullingar

As part of a crackdown on illicit activities in Mullingar, County Westmeath, the Gardaí have detained ten individuals in recent times. This continuous operation is spearheaded by the Mullingar division of the Gardaí, with support from their counterparts in Tullamore, County Offaly. Interestingly, both plain-clothed and uniformed local Gardaí have been engaging in patrolling duties within the vicinity.

All those apprehended have consequently faced charges and were summoned before the judiciary. During the probe, a total of 11 premises were subjected to thorough searches. Three of the accused were presented before an exceptional session of the Mullingar District Court on the preceding Wednesday and they were processed into custody. These individuals are scheduled for another hearing in the Mullingar District Court the following Monday.
