Aragon to stay on MotoGP calendar till 2016

Spanish MotoGP fans can be more than satisfied, because the Motorland Aragon circuit after taking IRTA’s ‘Best Grand Prix’ award last year, will now be on the MotoGP calendar till 2016.
Aragon had been placed on the calendar as reserve circuit and after the Balatonring financial debacle, ended up hosting an official round and yesterday, Dorna and the Government of Aragon signed an agreement making the venue a permanent track for MotoGP races.

Aragon will also be hosting a World Superbike round this season.
Aragon has a three-year deal with WSBK.
