A gentleman in his 60s tragically lost his life in a vehicular accident in Co Antrim. The authorities are calling for anyone with information on the event that occurred in the Springmount Road area of Clough to get in touch. A representative for PSNI stated: “We received the report at roughly 10.15am, implicating a blue Citroen Berlingo in the crash. The gentleman, who was driving, unfortunately died on the spot, while it is thought that the female passenger in the car did not sustain major injuries. Following the incident, the Springmount Road was shut but it is now reopen for traffic.”
