As the women’s Six Nations rugby tournament commences this weekend, the Irish team journeys to Le Mans to compete against France. This year denotes a decade since the corporate services entity, Aon, became the chief supporter of the Irish team. Aon extended its patronage last year, striking a deal to continue as the main sponsor till 2026. To celebrate its 10-year involvement in Irish women’s rugby, Aon declared on Friday that it will take on the role of the official transmission sponsor of the Guinness Women’s Six Nations 2024 across RTÉ and Virgin Media Television. Aon initially sponsored the Irish team in 2014 and has been in partnership since.
