Andrea Iannone to sit out Laguna Seca round

Pramac’s Andrea Iannone will be forced to skip this upcoming MotoGP round at Laguna Seca.
The MotoGP rookie crashed his Ducati GP13 during the fourth free practice at Sachsenring, dislocating his right shoulder.
The Clinica Mobile fixed the shoulder, but he was declared unfit to ride in the race, and on returning home to Italy, due to continuing pain, he underwent more scans and was diagnosed with serious bruising to the head of the humerus and with two damaged ligaments.

Iannone went to Laguna Seca last April to learn the track riding a Ducati 1199 Panigale, but he was black flagged after a few laps because the Panigale was too loud.
The Italian will have until Indianapolis (August 16-18) to recover and Pramac will only have one rider on track, and it will be Moto2 rider Alex de Angelis, who will be replacing the still recovering Ben Spies.
