Andrea Iannone Sponsor Punishment

If you follow the 125cc Championship, you’ll certainly remember the incident at Misano between Andrea Iannone and Pol Espargaro.
Iannone head butted the Spanish rider and then in a post race interview with Italia 1 had a meltdown, seasoned with a few racial slurs.
Iannone publicly apologized with a press release, but the team has taken action.

Iannone arrived at Estoril and his team Ongetta Team I.

A, have put their rider under strict orders; no talking to the press under any circumstances.
The team’s sponsors according to a press release have been offended by Iannone’s actions and do not want to be associated with that type of behavior and to protect the other three riders and not leave the team in financial trouble, have ordered that the young Italian rider ride his Aprilia RSA 125 minus two sponsor logo’s on his leathers and bike.
