Dear Editor,
Mr. Patsy McGarry criticises the Bible for its portrayal of “violence and vulgarity”. However, if the Bible was less explicit in its depiction of humanity, I for one, would be disillusioned. Without the precise portrayal of sin, the possibility of redemption would also be lost.
