Air Europa celebrates Jorge Lorenzo

When Jorge Lorenzo returned to his home island of Mallorca to a hero’s homecoming welcome, we thought that Air Europa, his personal sponsor, had payed tribute to the World Champion by christening one of their Boeing’s with the “Lorenzo’s Land” name.
What we didn’t know is that the Spanish carrier also painted huge murals of Lorenzo racing his M1 on both sides of the fuselage of their 737.

Juan José Hidalgo, the President of Air Europa said, “now the sky is also Lorenzo’s Land, because he flys farther and higher” adding that they’ll be keeping the murals on the plane for a long time.
Spain sure knows how to celebrate their MotoGP champion.
