Aer Lingus: Current Disruptions from Pilot Action

Aer Lingus has announced that from next Monday to Wednesday, they will be eliminating an additional 76 services. This will ultimately increase the total number of flights cancelled to nearly 500. The abrupt cancellations are due to the on-going industrial dispute regarding salaries with the Irish Air Line Pilots’ Association (Ialpa). Attempting to address the dispute, the Labour Court is utilising powers within the Industrial Relations Act.

The cancelled flights will commence on Wednesday, July 3rd and continue until Thursday, July 4th, and are on top of previous flight cancellations.

On Wednesday, flights departing Ireland from Cork to London Heathrow (EI0724) at 8.30pm will be cancelled. Similarly, multiple flights from Dublin to various locations including Amsterdam (EI0602), Berlin/Brandenburg (EI0332), Birmingham (EI0276), Brussels (EI0638), Dusseldorf (EI0698), Frankfurt (EI0656), London Heathrow (EI0162 and EI0182), Manchester (EI0208), Munich (EI0352), New York (EI0105), and Paris (EI0526) will be cancelled.

On Thursday, Ireland will see further flight cancellations. These include flights from Cork to London Heathrow (EI0724), and from Dublin to Berlin/Brandenburg (EI0332), Birmingham (EI0276), Brussels (EI0638), Geneva (EI0680), and London Heathrow (EI0162).

Here is the modified version of the flight timings and codes:

On July 5th, passengers from Cork will be able to have a flight to London/Heathrow under the flight number EI0724 and it would take off at 20:30. Similarly, travellers from Dublin have multiples options such as flights to Amsterdam (EI0602), Berlin/Brandenburg (EI0332), Birmingham (EI0276), Brussels (EI0638), and Dusseldorf (EI0698) with take-off times at 6:15am, 6:40am, 7:20pm, 5:55pm, and 5:30pm respectively. More destinations available from Dublin include Frankfurt (EI0656), London/Heathrow (EI0182), Manchester (EI0208), Munich (EI0352), New York (EI0105), and Paris (EI0526) with departure times at 4:45pm, 7pm, 12:50pm, 7:10am, 11:05am, and 1pm respectively.

Come July 6th, flights departing from London/Heathrow are available with flight code EI0724 and it’s scheduled for 8:30pm. Other destinations include Amsterdam (EI0610), Berlin/Brandenburg (EI0332), Birmingham (EI0262), Geneva (EI0680), and Hamburg (EI0392) with times at 6:15pm, 6:40am, 6:30am, 6:15am and 10:15am respectively.

On the other hand, on our usual days, we’ve got flights to various cities like London/Heathrow (EI0182), Manchester (EI0208), New York (EI0105), Paris (EI0528) from our hub in Cork that flies at 7pm, 12:50pm, 11:05am, 6:20pm respectively. These are in addition to the service offered to Vienna (EI0660) from Cork which departs at 6:10am.

The provided timetable shows various flights departing from London, Heathrow (LHR), and other global airports on different days. On July 7th, there are flights heading out at 11.15am (EI0162) from London Heathrow (LHR) and 5 pm (EI0176). There’s also a flight to Lyon (EI0552) leaving at 12.55pm and one to New York (EI0105) at 11.05am. Lastly, a flight leaves for Paris (EI0528) at 6.20pm.

On the same day, there’s a flight leaving from Cork to Heathrow (EI0724) late in the evening at 8.30pm. Departures from Dublin include flights to Berlin (EI0332) at 6.40am, Birmingham (EI0276) at 7.20pm, Brussels (EI0638) at 5.55pm, Dusseldorf (EI0698) at 5.30pm, Frankfurt (EI0656) at 4.45pm, Lyon (EI0550) at 6.15am, Manchester (EI0208) at 12.50pm, Munich (EI0352) at 7.10am, New York (EI0105) at 11.05am, and Paris (EI0524) at 9.50am.

In the following day, July 8th, one flight departs from Cork to Heathrow (EI0724) at 8.30pm. Meanwhile, flights from Dublin are set to various destinations such as Amsterdam (EI0602) at 6.15am, Birmingham (EI0276) at 7.20pm, Frankfurt (EI0656) at 4.45pm, Manchester (EI0208) at 12.50pm, and Zurich (EI0348) at 4.55pm. There are also two flights to Heathrow, one at 1.30pm (EI0166) and another at 7.00pm. All are subject to local timezone.

On Tuesday, 9th of July, there are several scheduled flights. From Cork, we have a plane bound for London’s Heathrow airport, flight number EI0724, which departs at half past eight in the evening. In Dublin, there are numerous flights: to Amsterdam on flight EI0610 leaving at quarter past six in the evening; to Berlin’s Brandenburg airport on flight EI0332 departing at twenty to seven in the morning; to Birmingham on flight EI0262, leaving at half past six in the morning; to Geneva on flight EI0680 which takes off at quarter past six in the morning, and a range of others to destinations including London, Lyon, Manchester, New York, Nice, and Paris.

On Wednesday, 10th July, we have another host of flights. From Cork, there is a similar flight on EI0724 to London departing at half eight in the evening. From Dublin, flights include approximately the same destinations as the previous day: Amsterdam, Berlin, Birmingham, Brussels, Dusseldorf, Frankfurt, London, Manchester, Munich, New York, and Paris. Flight times vary from as early as quarter past six in the morning to as late as seven in the evening.

Furthermore, on Wednesday, 3rd July, flights departing from the UK include one from Birmingham to Dublin on I0277 at ten minutes to nine in the evening and from London Heathrow to Cork on EI0725 at twenty-five past ten in the evening.

Here is the list of flights from various locations to Dublin (DUB) and Cork (ORK) across a stretch of days in July.

On the 4th of July, we have flights EI0163 and EI0183 departing from London Heathrow (LHR) to Dublin at 1.25 pm and 9.10 pm respectively. A flight from Manchester (MAN), EI0209, is also bound for Dublin at 2.25 pm. Birmingham (BHX) sees flight EI0277 leave for Dublin at 8.50 pm, while another flight, EI0725, departs from Heathrow for Cork at 10.25 pm.

For the following day, July 5th, the schedule pretty much remains the same with Birmingham-Dublin flight EI0277 at 8.50 pm and the Heathrow-Cork flight EI0725 at 10.25 pm. Flights from Heathrow and Manchester to Dublin are scheduled at the same times as the previous day.

The 6th of July sees an early departure of flight EI0263 from Birmingham to Dublin at 8.15 am and a Heathrow-Cork flight, I0725, at 10.25 pm. On this day, there’s an additional departure from Heathrow to Dublin, EI0177 at 7.10 pm, adding to EI0163 at 1.25 pm.

For Sunday, the 7th of July, the flight schedules echo that of July 5th.

The flight EI0183 will be departing from London Heathrow (LHR) and arriving in Dublin (DUB) at 9.10pm.

The schedule for flights to Dublin (DUB) from various destinations for the upcoming week is as follows. On Monday, 8th of July, departures from Manchester(MAN) to Dublin via flight EI0209 are scheduled for 14:25, while Birmingham(BHX) will have a flight at 20:50 via EI0277. London Heathrow (LHR) will have two flights departing to Dublin, at 15:50 and 21:10 via flights EI0167 and EI0183 respectively. Additionally, a flight to Cork (ORK) from London Heathrow will be available at 22:25 through flight EI0725.

The flights for Tuesday, the 9th of July, include Manchester-Dublin via EI0209 at 14:25, Birmingham-Dublin via EI0263 at 08:15, and London-Dublin via flights EI0163 at 13:25 and EI0177 at 19:35. Once again, a flight from London Heathrow to Cork is available via EI0725 at 22:25.

On Wednesday, the 10th of July, Birmingham to Dublin flight EI0277 is scheduled for 20:50, while Manchester to Dublin flight EI0209 is at 14:25. Flights from London to Dublin are EI0163 at 13:25 and EI0183 at 21:10. The London to Cork service EI0725 is set for 22:25.

In addition to these, several flights are departing from various European cities to Dublin on Wednesday, the 3rd of July. Moving to Friday, the 5th of July, flights from Amsterdam (AMS) to Dublin (DUB) are on EI0603 scheduled at 9:35 in the morning. Flights from Berlin/Brandenburg (BER) to Dublin (DUB) are also scheduled with the EI0333 at 10:40 in the morning. Evening flights from Brussels (BRU) to Dublin (DUB) are under EI0639 at 9:25 and from Dusseldorf (DUS) to Dublin (DUB) on EI0699 at 9:05. From Frankfurt (FRA) to Dublin (DUB) the flights are on EI0657 at 8:40 in the evening. From Munich (MUC) to Dublin (DUB), EI0353 is the code for the flight at 11:25 in the morning. In the afternoon, flights from Paris (CDG) to Dublin (DUB) are on EI0527 at 4:30.

For Saturday, the 6th of July, flights from Amsterdam (AMS) are on EI0611 at 9:40 in the morning. Flights from Berlin/Brandenburg (BER) to Dublin (DUB) are available on EI0333 at 10:40 in the morning. From Geneva (GVA) to Dublin (DUB), flights are available on EI0681 at 10:15 in the morning. On Sunday, the 7th of July, flights from Berlin/Brandenburg (BER) to Dublin (DUB) are available on IEI0333 at 10:40 in the morning whilst those from Brussels (BRU) to Dublin (DUB) leave at 9:20 in the evening under the code EI0639.

Planes have been scheduled to depart from various European cities to Dublin (DUB). From Dusseldorf (DUS), flight EI0699 is anticipated to leave at 9.05pm, flight EI0657 from Frankfurt (FRA) is set to depart at 8.40pm, and Lyon (LYS) to Dublin flight EI0551 is marked for 10.10am. Moreover, Munich (MUC) to Dublin flight EI0353 is timed for an 11.25am departure and Paris (CDG) to Dublin travel aboard flight EI0525 is expected to leave by 1.20pm.

Come Monday, July 8th, flight EI0603 leaves Amsterdam (AMS) for Dublin at 9:35am. On Tuesday, July 9th, a late evening flight EI0611 has been arranged to leave Amsterdam (AMS) for Dublin at 9:40pm. Other flights include Berlin/Brandenburg (BER) with EI0333 departing at 10:40am, Geneva (GVA) flight EI0681 at 10:15am, Lyon (LYS) flight EI0553 at 4:50pm, Nice (NCE) to Dublin flight EI0545 leaving at 3:20pm and a later departure from Paris (CDG) – flight EI0529 at 9:50pm.

Lastly, on Wednesday, July 10th, the slated itinerary includes Amsterdam (AMS) to Dublin (DUB) flight EI0603 at 9.35am, another Berlin/Brandenburg (BER) to Dublin flight, EI0333 marked for 10.40am, Brussels (BRU) to Dublin flight EI0639 at 9.20pm, a second Dusseldorf (DUS) flight EI0699 to Dublin set for 9.05pm, Frankfurt (FRA) to Dublin flight EI0657 to leave by 8.40pm and Munich (MUC) flight EI0353, bound for Dublin, expected to depart at 11.25am.

From Paris (CDG) to Dublin (DUB), flight EI0527 is slated to take off at 16:30.

There are also scheduled flights departing from North America. Specifically, these flights are due to depart from New York (JFK), USA, heading to Dublin (DUB) on flight number EI0104.

The departure times will be 16:55 every day – beginning from Wednesday, the 3rd of July through to Wednesday, the 10th of July.
