Adam Idah has inked a five-year contract with Celtic

After scoring nine goals in the last season, 23-year-old Republic of Ireland international, Adam Idah, has finalised a five-year agreement with Celtic. Idah, who even scored a late winning goal against Rangers in the cup final, rejoins the Glasgow-based club following his successful loan period from Norwich.

Former Celtic defender Mark Wilson lauded this move earlier this week. He had predicted that the team management would acquire Idah to align with Brendan Rodgers’ strategy of prioritising quality over quantity. In his words, Wilson believed both clubs greatly benefited from this deal. As Norwich has managed to capitalise on a player who was not likely to join their first team, Celtic has reacquired a proven goalscorer.

In a recent interview with Celtic TV post signing, Idah expressed his joy and confirmed that his preference has always been to continue playing for Celtic. He fondly recalled his initial days at the club and how they were instrumental in his decision to make the move permanent. He talked about his excitement to rejoin ‘the boys’, witness the incredible support from the fans and to relive the unparalleled experience. The star striker seemed to be ecstatic for his return and to carry forward his impressive scoring streak.
