Absurd Motorcycle Law in Vietnam

In Vietnam, an absurd law has been made about motorcycles, which could bring some problems for the Vietnamese people, but it has not yet been approved.

It seems that the Vietnamese government is thinking of banning people who are too short, too thin, or too small-chested from driving motorcycles.

An absurd law in Vietnam

The Ministry of Health recently recommended that people whose chest measures less than 72 centimeters would be forbidden to ride motorcycles – as well as those that are too short or too thin.

The proposal must be approved by the central government to become law, it would also prohibit people from driving motorcycles if they suffer from such health conditions as fever, enlarged livers, or sinusitis.

The new rule would affect the vast majority of the 20 million motorcyclists in Vietnam. Motorcycles account for more than 90 percent of vehicles on the chaotic roads of Vietnam.

This will make it even harder for Vietnamese citizens to get to work because most are too poor to buy cars and make commutes with motorcycles like scooters and mopeds.

From now on, padded bras will be best-selling, “said Bo Cu Hung, a popular blogger from Ho Chi Minh City.
Personally, how would you feel when you get stopped for a spontaneous road check and the cop pulls out a measuring tape?
