A fatal road accident occurred in Co Cavan in the wee hours of a recent Monday, tragically claiming the life of a male passenger in his 20s. The vehicle he was travelling in collided with a lorry on the N3 route at Drumcrauve, not far from the town of Cavan. Local Gardaí reached the accident site at approximately 3 a.m.
The female motorist, also in her 20s, was conveyed to Cavan General Hospital for medical attention. Fortunately, her injuries were reported as non-critical by Gardaí. The accident location was cordoned off for the remainder of Monday to enable a detailed forensic examination by the Garda investigators.
