A paraglider was saved from a precarious situation in Conor Pass located in County Kerry

A paraglider was successfully rescued following a crash on a mountainside in Co Kerry where he was left stuck on Tuesday evening. After an alert was issued, the Dingle Coast Guard promptly initiated a rescue mission just before half-past six. The man had sustained injuries after crashing into the mountainside above Conor Pass road on the Dingle Peninsula which left him stranded. After approximately 90 minutes, the Coast Guard was able to retrieve him and safely get him down to the road below. The paraglider was then handed over to an awaiting ambulance.
