A man in his twenties has tragically passed away following a vehicular collision in County Donegal

In the wee hours of Sunday morning, a tragic incident unfolded in Co Donegal when a car collided with a pedestrian, resulting in his death. The man, who was in his 20s, died on the spot near Ballynally, close to Moville. The driver of the vehicle was subsequently sent to the hospital for evaluation, as a Garda spokesperson informed.

To facilitate a detailed investigation by the Garda Forensic Collision Investigators, the scene was cordoned off. Traffic diversions were also imposed in the local area. Following the sad event, the nearby coroner was informed and the deceased was taken to Letterkenny Hospital’s mortuary where an autopsy is set to be carried out.
